the wallpaper doesnt show up because you either dont have "user wallpaper" checked in winterboard or it doesnt have priority over the android skin. (to fix this, go into winterboard, make sure "user wallpaper" is checked, and drag it to the top of the list) this will show the wallpaper of whatever u chose in settings..
this "wallpaper" i included in the skin only has the special/custom shaded boxes for the clock and icon names.
I did this so YOU set whatever wallpaper u want while still keeping the special shaded boxes. (so you dont have to keep modding your wallpapers with special features of this skin)
and the app at the bottom is apart of a thing categories. this app allows you to make NEW apps that you can put files into. its like a box maker.. it makes new storage boxes...
install categories from cydia.. and make a category named "Apps" and put your applications in it. When you click the tab thing, it'll launch "Apps" and let you select your application u wanna use.
sry about making it so confusing. but this is how i customize all my skins to work. :[

Since, a lot of people are working on the Blackberry's Modifications such as the icons and other things. I decided to take on a new challenge instead. As a pure beginner i searched around the net, and did a little modifications of this Android Simplistic theme since AndroidPerfection is not yet ready for release. Here's is my work so far:
- Analog Clock is working
(1st Screen is the Clock.PNG - 2nd Screen is the actual Analog Clock i inputted).
- Dock modifications, with Categories Mods.
- 3rd Screen is a copy of the Dialer, and no it's not the copy of ebl's. I actually made a replica. As you can see I typed in 370011 the number from this thread URL.
(..370011-release-android-simplistic-2.html)

Currently I am looking around to photoshop my way to make new Android theme like with different varieties of modifications, which may include new skins for other applications.
What do you guys think so far? :]

awesome work everyone
how about, every mod people make, post it here so we can jus put together our own full theme. i'd love that dialer, and analog working clock minus the numbered digital clock with date. i don't need the date listed like that1.1.1>1.1.2>1.1.4>2.0>2.1>2.2>3.1>3.1.2 blackra1n'd

seriously, good job guys. We can probably get a full functioning android theme up here within a few days if everyone works together and contributes their own mods. Sure beats arguing and waiting over a month for android perfection.

I'll probably post my main modded Android theme up tonight or tomorrow. It won't have any mods for apps like Safari or anyother apps. The main modifications are the theme itself and the dialer. But I'll see what I can do.
;]
We all should just do what we can for now, it'll be great if someone finds a set of Android Icons?

This is terrific!
Just a couple of questions...
are you simply placing the "apps" category in the sort of non-existant dock?
Also, how do you get the clock on your springboard like that?
Is that a widget from cydia or something?
Finally, when you open the "apps" thing how can you make it look like the post about two or three ahead of mine?
Thanks for the help!

it aint your dialer if you never released one spec... if someone went about making his own, its fair game.

i dont know if this will help.. but here are like 97 icons i was able to extract from the andr0id SDK kit.
you can just take these icons and apply them to your own creation
@smirkis: there some battery icons in the icon packet i just uploaded.. have fun
@iphonedme: im not sure what you're asking about the dock but the tab you see is actually an icon for the category named "app".. you can change it to whatever u like. simply rename the icon whatever you named your category.
hope that helpedLast edited by theend2; 10-04-2008 at 07:52 PM.

Thanks for the icons! :]
I'll share the analog clock once I get it down. If anybody has any icons like the icons in like the ones on Android T-Mobile Google Phone, please post them here.
Working on little icon changes at the moment.

This looks excellent now don't go teasing us for over a month w/ it! hehe
Looks great! Small suggestion: Since you have the analog clock you should remove the digital time on the top of the analog clock but keep the Date (however, move the clock up and drop the date "beneath" the analog clock for balance maybe?)Last edited by Doreen; 10-04-2008 at 08:53 PM.

lol, nah I won't tease you all for a month. Maybe 29 days will do lmao..
About your suggestion, I'll consider it, but that's one of the last things I should worry about. Thinking about how I'm going to be skinning the rest of this theme efficiently considering that I'm a beginner. This will be the first theme I'm actually putting any real effort in. lol
But, maybe Ebl will decide to release his before I even put any of my source out lol.
