[RELEASE] Animated Lockscreens!
Ya tah!! (I did it, for you non-hero fans).
Using winterboard, I found a way to have animated lockscreens! Here are a couple that I made up real fast.
The first one is clownfish swimming in front of an anemone and the second is flashes of a speedometer.
Hope you guys like!

UPDATE
Heres another one I did. It's japanese themed and targetted more toward the ladies. It has two koi fish swimming after eachother.

note: this isn't the koi fish from the koi pond app. were still working on that.

Yea its all just using HTML.
I have the fish in a marquee so it moves and its all in a table the sizes it up to the width and height of the phone.
You could make any gif the wallpaper.
You can even put a text banner on the lock screen using this.
I wish there was a way we could get an animated gif of the koi fish app from the appstore and put that on the wallpaper. that would be dope.iPhizzle

I dont know really. I've had the fish one on all day and it hasn't changed significantly. I think if you left it on the lock screen and it didn't dim then it would, but since the lock screen dims i dont think its working in the background.

I have the sdk, how do i get screen captures of the koi pond app? I have that too. haha.
These will be on cydia by tonight, so watch out for that if you hadn't got a chance to DL them yet, or just dont want to deal with manually putting them on your phone.
Thanks for all the support guys!Last edited by bubonicbryan; 09-30-2008 at 07:32 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

@BUBONICBRYAN
Thats a very cool lockscren. Great Idea!
I wonder if you can help. I tried to play around with it.
I replace the gif with my own, renamed it in the LockBackground.html
But when I put it up on winterboard and respring.
the gif shows up but its not 'animated'
I dont know where it went wrong.
