I will definitely take another look at the theme (I was planning on trying to improve and polish it a little anyway) and see if I can create a fix for it. As I recall, there was an issue with the size of the buttons with the Orbz rings added to them, but I will have to look at it again. I'll keep you posted on any progress.

With a FM transmitter that hooks up to API/bottom connector the volume control disappears on iPhone and iTouch.

Hi folks,

I absolutely love this theme, but I got fed up with winterboards performance and decided to remove winterboard and install the icons manually. I did so, and a number of the icons now have an odd background to them which don't show up if you just open the png file normally. Anybody know what's causing this? Thanks in advance!

Chris, I believe it is an overlay that apple applies to each icon. I have read i this thread (can't remember the page, but it has been quite a while now) that some icons don't come from the devs with the overlay built in, so apple has some kind of command that adds their own overlay. I can't confirm this, so maybe Google can confirm it. Other than that, I couldn't tell you. We know that they are not a part of thr original Orbz icons though. Good luck.

This was a test. I took a screenshot from the Apple App Store and copied the icon from there to create these. So basically we can find any icon needed from the App store. I don't know what name it will have on the SB but if someone sees this and recognizes all they have to do is tell us the correct name.

I use a widget to do the same thing. You are gonna want to take another look at the icons you just made though. It looks as though there is still a little something in the upper left corner.

I have windows vista. It has something called windows side bar. It allows you to download various widgets such as a clock, music player, news feeds, weather, etc. Windows says it opens upon start by default, but you can turn it on by going to the bottom of your screen to the "quick launch" task bar. Down to the right it should be there (along with several other quick launch icons). Once you open it, you can right click on it, and select add gadgets. Then just search through until you find what you want (the gadget/widget I use is called screen snapper). I happen to run across this widget that allows me to take screen shots of anything that appears on my screen, while looking through some widgets. So now when I need an icon from Apple, I just do a search for the app in itunes, select the app, and take a screen shot of the 101x101 px image in itunes. I then save it with the name of the app, as a jpg.

i like the background, the only problem with black is that the borders of the icons are black too, and that way the disappear a bit... But if you send me the background you used i'll put it in the original file and i'll show the result. Is the font just a font from ps??

and yes, it has cost quite a bit time making all the icons that way

try to look in another browser than the one you are using normally, or refresh a couple times, or clear your cache. This is a problem from the forum
