You'll see that your icon won't fit within with what i allready got. But i think your was a great icon for the Rock app.

Hey. While we are onto what fits and don't.. The iBlank Icon realy bugs me. Must be a better icon for it??
Can't say i have found any either.. So maybe you two wont to take it up? And make a better iblank icon?

Appreciate the hard work making icons! Just wanted to mention something and I hope you take it as constructive criticism, as you do some good work.
Sometimes I feel like your icons aren't really "Bufferized" and are kinda flat. There is a cartoon effect you can try (tutorials online for Photoshop, Gimp has a filter called cartoon), and add a drop shadow if needed.

Somehow, I have managed to make an icon that doesn't look terrible

I used the map icon that uncle_don had cleaned up for me, shrank the compass icon, and put that on top. It's a useful little icon for map navigation apps. Hope you like it, and thanks to uncle_don for making it possible!

I also had a go at creating an icon for iDropDead Flower Edition... that didn't go so well

Perhaps some kind soul could use my attempt to see where I was going with it, and make a better version?

I used the bear desktop icon uncle_don posted, and tried to resize it to 60x60 for the iPhone. That wasn't exactly a roaring success, it looks a bit pixelly and the transparency and shading round the edges looks rubbish.

Then I took the bunch of flowers from one of the Upcoming icons in the pack, and tried to cut that out and paste it on top... yeah, not too great a job

I think the same could be done for regular iDropDead, just with some blood splats instead of flowers (there's a blood splat in the pack that might work).

I'm having trouble understanding your problem, though. You're saying that only a few icons got changed? One important thing to check is that the filenames of the icons are EXACTLY right - for instance, if The Creeps were displayed on your springboard as "ThE cReEpS", then the icon would have to be named ThE cReEpS.png - nothing else would work. The icons are case-sensitive, they have to match exactly. Hope that helps.

I'd like to request an icon for Hook Champ:

Anything to do with grappling hooks or men in Indiana Jones hats swinging on ropes would do!

I was able to rename icons that werent sticking and so glad I found this post by you, thanks!

How about this? Goes with your icons...Otherwise any blank icon from the pack (icons,buttons,etc) works.

nah.. i ended up with Docking iBlank. Is not like i need that everyday, so why not just dock it. Saved your suggestion for iBlank kpall. sure a icon like that can come in good use for something one day! Thanks!
