Here is a third MR.AahH choice. I've done 2 scarecrows for you already. You better tell kpall exactly what you want since you didn't like mine. I thought the first one was perfect.

Sorry. I missread your post and uplaoded the wrong file. I've removed it.

Read this thread. They give some different options. Removing the top and bottom grey bars on lock screen

I am looking for something more "cartoon".

No worries I wasn't sure if it read the way i wanted it too, I want to keep the clock and slider TEXT but get rid of the Dark background that they are on, still doesn't sound right...... lol

I think i belive what u are looking for. and to me that sounds like a good idea.
Here is a pic, where the red markings are what he/me like to be gone. And the green is what he likes to keep. ( correct me and ill redo the pic if i got you wrong )

Ok woolybear and bamoozle,

download and unzip the attached file. It has 2 files in it. Move the bottombarbkgndlock.png to your com.apple.TelephonyUI bundle. Make sure to back up your original. Move the UILCDBackground.png into UIImages, again, backing up the original. Respring and it should work. I just tested it on mine. If you're running a lockscreen theme, other then buuf, it won't work.

Let me know if it's good.

Well uncle don. You did it again. Worked smooth and flawless

If you allow, i think it is far better to create a folder in

/private/var/stash/Themes.XXXXXX/ Named Buuf2.Custom

like this

/private/var/stash/Themes.XXXXXX/Buuf2.Custom

Then you dont have to back up.
Like now. I just created the TelephoneUI folder and placed the one PNG as you told there.. then this will overwrite the orignal without touching it. Same goes for icons and everything else!
( just remeber to check the Buuf2.costum in winterboard and have it palced above the buuf2 )

Just a tip, i got from the Pistol1's guide.

A new icon request would also be nice

This time it is for App Cake
Its a app just as Innstalous or what it was called again!
( see pic for orignal icon ) Maybe you could make it something like as cydia, rock and instaloluos/********** ( grr what ever )
