I made a custom keyboard for the lockscreen.
Put the 2 files in \Folders\SpringBoard.app

unfortunately, i am stuck with my 3G. don't have a 3GS to explore for a compass theme.

perhaps someone with a 3GS can investigate the file structure of the compass bundle?
