Hi,

that's a really great theme!!

But I need a few more Icons for some german applications

I'm using Stereo's Leopard theme with a few "custom" icons that I made myself to match the theme.

I was using this with no issues on my 2g iphone, but recently bought a 3GS (jailbroken and unlocked with blackra1n/blacksn0w) and am having issues changing some of the icons.

I've tried clearing springboard icon cache by SSH into my phone, navigating here:
/var/mobile/Library/Caches/ then delete these 2 folders:

SpringBoardIconCache
SpringBoardIconCache-small

Respringing, then rebooting.

And as soon as I'm done? They're back and my "problem" icons are blank, or back to stock.

I'm attaching a screenshot of one of my pages. (the 2 icons on the bottom row are an example of my problem)

** OR **

If I ssh into the APP folder and replace the icon.png for the application, it ends up having the overlay/shadow.

Bottom row of icons :

1st icon is correct (Mr Potato Head)

2nd icon was resized (from 80x80) and has it's legs cut off (spider)

3rd icon was also resized (from 80x80) and has stupid overlay.

The 2nd and 3rd icons are ones that i replaced via : /user/applications/(app folder) but only after attempting to piggyback them into the theme.

Anyone have any suggestions ? I'm beyond frustrated

Winter board themes go in Var/Stash/Themes
you do not need to replace icons any where winterboard will do all that for you.

Download this theme in cydia
ssh in and open the theme folder it will be in Var/stash/themes
Add what you want to it
select it in winterboard.
all that extra stuff you are doing is not needed. and it will cause your apps to stop working...

can someone please turn this picture into an icon for me? I cant figure out how to make the background transparent in elements, nor how to resize it to 80x80... my PS skills are, well, non-existent.

I have to be honest, I don't know that many people will make these for you:

1- there are WAY too many
2- they are pretty obscure (meaning, how many OTHER people can use them?)
3- there are WAY too many lol.

I wanted to tell you that your way DID end up working except for ONE icon!! It's so freaking frustrating.

Maybe YOU know of a different way to find the "real" name of an application.

So far I've tried SSHing into the application folder and finding it and changing the .png to that name - that works about 75% of the time.

My "other" method is to hold down the icon on the homescreen (like I'm going to delete the app) and wait for it to say "are you sure you want to delete _______" - the blank will be the actual app name that the icon needs to be renamed to - that works 99% of the time

I have ONE app that I can't figure this out for. It's the "Itsy Bitsy" app. (shut up LOL) Itsy Bitsy App on iTunes

can anyone help me find out WHAT THE F* is the real name of this stupid app !?
