Sleek font replacement for your entire system, simple to do.
Kameron at iphoneskinning has posted a sweet font called "neotech", optimized to replace the stock Helvetica system font. I think it looks pretty awesome. A bit Nokia-esque, very legible at all sizes.
Unlike other font changes, this requires no dedicated app, just SSH the replacement fonts to System/Library/Fonts/Cache. Make sure to backup the existing fonts first!Last edited by mcdj; 06-17-2008 at 10:35 PM.

This messes up the fonts in Parking Lot - maybe other apps too. You get weired symbols instead of letters.

Yeah, Parking Lot gets messed up. None of the other 20+ apps I have, native or installed, are adversely affected.
As cool as this font looks, I'll happily stop playing Parking Lot to use it.I'm so glad I don't have to meet The Internet People.

Last time I ****** with my system fonts I ended up getting ******.
I'll leave it at that. I don't think I ever will mess with them again.

I think this font is awesome! I wish I could figure out the process, because I know a great font that would be sweet on the iPoT... Thanks for the heads up! I see more font changing options/hacks in the near future anyway..

Man, what's wrong with the default font I mean this is cool. but it doesn't really fit with the nice sleek menus and everything.... imo... if anthing, I might switch to Myriad Pro.
Blurb.
