In a little more than one hour from now, Apple will take all of us inside of its invite-only media event for today's live unveiling of the next generation iPad, iPad mini, and... who knows what else.

The presentation is scheduled to begin promptly at 10 a.m. Pacific.

"Watch the special event held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco, CA," Apple says on its homepage today, encouraging fans to watch the action as it unfolds later this morning.

The company did not offer a live stream in September during the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c announcements.

To tune in today, just remember that live streaming video requires Safari 4 or later on OS X v10.6 or later. Safari on iOS will require 4.2 or later. Lastly, streaming via Apple TV is also possible, but it requires a second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 5.0.2 or later.
