Chitika: iPad Retains Huge Tablet Usage Lead at 84%
Competition? What competition?
Although the headlines continue to reflect the massive platform growth Android is enjoying across the smartphone and tablet markets today, the latest data from Chitika doesn't reflect this phenomenon.
Since Chitika Insights’ last study on the tablet market, Apple iPad users’ share of U.S. and Canadian tablet Web traffic has increased by nearly two percentage points, from 82.4% in May 2013, to 84.3% in June 2013 – now the iPad’s highest share since the beginning of 2013.
"While there are a number of players in the tablet marketplace, Apple clearly dominates the market," Chitika asserts.

Not surprised since the iPad is the only real tablet out there.

The screen response on most Android devices I have sampled absolutely sucks! Their Multi-Touch products fare a bit better but the problem is they pack these Android devices with so much capability it creates a backlog and lag that makes most of their devices, all third-party never following a coherent spec, feeble and unpleasant ton utilize. My Android Phone, which I loathe, stays on my desk like an unwanted Girlfriend while my Cellular iPad and iPhone, (which has no sim) see more action in a day and a night than that piece of crap Android ever will.

That's because every other tablet out there lags and just sucks.
