Default Refurbished iPad Mini and Fourth-Generation iPad Now Available on Apple's Web Site

It would appear that Apple has been busy adding new options to the online store today. Just earlier, Apple added the VESA mount adapter option for iMac computers to the Apple online store, and now Apple has listed refurbished versions of the iPad Mini and fourth-generation iPad with retina display.

Refurbished products are a great way to save some additional money on Apple products. The 16GB black and slate Verizon cellular + Wi-Fi model is $429.00, $30 cheaper than new; however, it doesn’t appear that there are any other options for refurbished cellular iPad Minis just yet. On the other hand, if you want a Wi-Fi-only model, you can shell out just $389.00, saving $40 on a refurbished 32GB white and silver Wi-Fi-only iPad Mini. There aren't any other choices for Wi-Fi-only iPad Minis just yet.

If you're in the market for the fourth-generation iPad with retina display, and not an iPad Mini, you will have a much larger selection. Your choices include:

    • Refurbished iPad with Retina display Wi-Fi 16GB - White – $449.00 ($50 off)
    • Refurbished iPad with Retina display Wi-Fi + Cellular for Verizon 16GB - Black – $579.00 ($50 off)
    • Refurbished iPad with Retina display Wi-Fi + Cellular for Verizon 32GB - White – $679.00 ($50 off)
    • Refurbished iPad with Retina display Wi-Fi + Cellular for Verizon 32GB - Black – $679.00 ($50 off)
    • Refurbished iPad with Retina display Wi-Fi + Cellular for Verizon 16GB - White – $579.00 ($50 off)

All refurbished Apple products come with the same one-year warranty that new Apple products do, and the condition of refurbished Apple products are usually the same as the condition of new Apple products. If you're interested, head over to Apple's Web site!

Only $50 off a refurbished item. I would expect at least a third off from any manufacturer that didn't wish to rip off the public!!

So true! But they're Apple and they can get away with it.
