After looking at the differences between the 3rd and 4th gen, that 6 month release cycle made sense. The 3rd gen model only worked on three sets of carriers for LTE vs the 4th gen with multiple (add in the international LTE radio like with the iPhone 5). It also had a new processor and updated specs (cameras, lightning port, etc) to go along with it.
Unless they have an entirely new processor and better spec set, having a 5th gen only 6 months after the 4th gen doesn't make much sense.Member of the hackint0sh forums.

What are you guy talking about a 6 month cycle for? The iPad 4 was a minor spec incress it was not a new version. This will be 12 months since the last ipad generation. Ipad 3 and 4 are the same generation.

How dare apple not make us wait 12 months to have new technology. I mean what kind of POS company would update there products when the technology is current rather than waiting for it to be 6 months old??
I am appalled of the mere thought of the ability to purchase a new iPad before the last one is 1 year old. Lmao
People are so silly. "I just got mine are you kidding" as if everyone buys an iPad each year.
Let's assume you are on a 1 a year budget. I know I am. I usually sell off the old to buy the new. There are two advantages to a 6 month refresh.
1. Your product is that much newer when you want to sell it and people like that.
2. If your on a 1. Year budget then instead of updating to something is 2x faster you'll be updating to something 4x faster (ussually with each release apple makes the newer product twice as fast)
If your like me then you'll probably sell your iPad to get a new one anyway. So the upgrade coat is minimal
Besides I'm all about he iPad mini anyway. Love the size and weight

Pads are rectangles of absorbent material that you stick to the inside of your underwear. Some have extra material on the sides (called "wings") that fold over the edges of your underwear to better hold the pad in place and prevent leakage. Sometimes, pads are called sanitary pads or sanitary napkins. Nothing like a pad that can also play music!
