Best Buy: Third Generation iPad Now $50 Off, Oh and You Get a $75 Gift Card Too!
For those of you looking for last-minute deals for the holidays, you can now take advantage of a great iPad deal from Best Buy online.
Today only, you can snag a third generation iPad, the last generation iPad with the A5X chip, non-lightning connector, and non-dual band Wi-Fi, for $50 off the original price and Best Buy will even hand you a $75 Best Buy gift card for buying it! It might not be as fast as the fourth generation iPad, but you will be getting the retina display, and a chip that still performs well, despite being slightly outdated.
The offer is for 64GB and 32GB models only. It applies for white and black 32GB models, but only the black 64GB models. If you're interested, you should act fast, because these will sell out in no time.
In addition to the discounted iPad, you can use the convenient $75 gift card as a secondary holiday gift, or even use it for your Black Friday shopping, to name a few ideas. It’s yours to use however you would like.
Will you be grabbing one?

Waiting for iPad 5

Won't be getting one. If I was I would rather get the 4th gen. I'm still on an ipad2 that I purchased when it was originally released. Im hoping the 5th gen will be worth an upgrade.

The iPad 3 is still kinda new. And already talk about the iPad 5. What?

They're sold out...what a shock!
Why do they even bother with the sale when they almost never go thru with it?

This is a pretty phenomenal deal. I realize a lot of you would rather get the fourth gen, but this is essentially $125 off of a brand new third gen. At that price I would rather get this one. If not this one, then I'd rather just wait for the next revision, which in all likelihood will come in 5-6 months. Can;t really justify a 25% price increase...

I was at BB today and they had a whole table of these. What they failed to mention at this store was that these ipad3's were opened or returned. Still new but could not be sold as such.

The salesman at the store said they had so many returns from people wanting the iPad 4 that they had to do this. Seriously there were at least 50 on the table.
