I was told by an apple genius that the lightning connector charges devices a lot faster as it dynamically selects how many pins are used for charging based on if there is any data transfer or not. I dnt know if this is actually true or just PR speak.
The A6 chip in my IP5 is truly wonderful, you can throw CPU hogging tasks at it and there is no noticeable lag, my iPad 3 on the other hand has so much lag in similar task that when I first got it I thought I had been sold an iPad 2.
It's just a shame that I can't trade in my iPad 3 for an updated one. It's more of a shame I didn't just wait for a Microsoft surface Pro tablet as that is capable of completely replacing my laptop.

Is it me? Or do the Apple logo and camera look awfully shoddy....? Like they were just cut and moved there?
