China Expected to be Apple's Biggest Market for iPad mini
If Apple does, indeed, release the iPad mini as almost all analysts and market watchers expect, China could very well prove Apple's largest and most receptive audience for the iPad mini.
On the heels of reports that the iPad mini may be exclusively accessible through WiFi, Brian White of Topeka Capital Markets thinks Apple will finally secure the type of market share it has wanted out of Asia all along.
"We have noticed the growing popularity of the Samsung Galaxy Note in China this year and we believe this trend will play into Apple's hands with the soon-to-be-launched iPad Mini," White told investors Thursday. "While the Galaxy Note is also a smartphone, we believe the tablet capabilities are the main reason for purchase in China."
With the iPad mini expected to go for $250 to $300, the iPad mini would be substantially cheaper than the new Samsung Galaxy Note II, which is a popular seller in stores in Shenzen, China today.
The rumor mill maintains that we could see the iPad mini before the end of October 2012.

...this is retarded. Great work analysts you figured out the most populated country would be the biggest market. Well done!

Don't really see a need for the iPad mini when the iPad 2 retails for what people will have to pay for the iPad mini!
