The thing with pricing, £599 Is if you look at say Apple store Italy 32 GB Wifi ipad is £599 which US dollars would be $819.55. Now we all know damn well if you go to Apple USA's website that exact 32 GB Wifi only iPad retails for $599 USD. So chances are if this "ipad killer" does come out for that price it will probably be 599 USD in the US. Sorry but Europeans get screwed when it comes to exchange rate. I am finding that out being in Italy almost 6 months now. Not to say i would even think about purchasing this so called "ipad killer" just a fact that alot of people dont realize about the different pricing..just cuz its 599 EURO does not mean its going to be 900 in the US. I bought my ipad from the US apple store cuz i am a US citizen and i did not want to go to the local mall here and pay 819.55 USD for it!

Why are they calling it an ipad killer????? The only tablet Rhys actually gonna compete is the balckberrys playbook

I'm still not impressed with any of these tablets. Until it runs OSX or Windows 7 the I don't give a ****.

Why does every device that's going against Apple have to be deemed 'the Killer'?
War does not determine who is right - only who is left.

Im better off getting the iPad, might aswell pay less for a company that is famous and will take care of my problems with the product. Plus the touch screen technology on the galaxy isnt mature enough to run without that hecktic choppy screen like motion. Only upside is that the camera is there, thats it. Either way its not a iPad killer, its there own device that they toke longer to make...which eventually can't beat the iPad.

Never heard of this until today, just watched a 10 min demo and I have to say I'm actually quite impressed, if it didn't cost so much I would trade my iPad in one right now, this would be a very good excuse for me to try out android
Thanks for post

I want one.lol
I had a Captivate before going back to my 3GS, but I really liked it. If the Galaxy S phones are any indicator as to how to Tablet is going to perform, I'm really excited.
The price is high, but imagine what can/will be possible with this.
I want one, always have since I first read about em on A. I'm planning for my wedding soon and I'm still trying to save to get one..lol
I also like that the OS !!!!IMHO!!!! is more adequate for what I fell will in essence,"Kill the iPad"...and thats mobile media. With the fact that you have to jailbreak the iPad to install Flash, is not something I find appealing. I love to hack and crack and device I can, but I've seen phones with native Flash support perform better then a hacked and cracked way of doing it. After the 2.2 Froyo update came out for the Captivate, I flashed it to a buddies phone and it is AMAZING...I want mine back..lol
Sorry to ramble, but I like to type and my future mother in law is here and I was drowning her out..lol
Point: Samsung Galaxy S Tab is something I will be buying. You don't have to, but I will.

Wow, that's amazing. That price isn't gonna kill anything but the Tab itself
