oh man...lucky for me the closest Apple store is in the middle of a busy cop ridden 5th avenue in Manhattan.

The mall where this happened (I live close to it) is in a very affluent community, complete with their own police force in and around the mall. It is terrible that this happened and no one jumped the thieves. It does not surprise me that no one was able to stop the thieves in the parking garage, though - it is very dark, not patrolled very often and has plenty of access for a thief to take off quick.

I live just down the block from this Mall also. Usually the indoor parking lot is pretty busy, people coming in and out. First time I have heard of something like this going on there. Its a pretty hi class environment. Im sure glad I have my Taser app on my iPhone In other places around Denver though, muggings seem to be up at tad because of the economy.

Its on all the local news now with his picture and a reward for information. Looks like there were 2 people involved. Then of course they followed that up with the report of the new iPhone prototype video.
Shouldn't be to long till someone turns him in and his buddy for the reward. I for one will be keeping a eye out for him. Use the reward for a new 4G

That is a pretty ridiculous thing to say IMO. Plenty of Caucasians steal as well every day. Sure a black guy will steal something every once in a while. Why must we feel bad for the entire race?
