Channel 5 news here in the UK said the release of the iPad had been delayed in the UK and it won't now be available until the 10th May - not sure where they got that date from, do they know something we don't or are they just wrong?

The May 10th date is, apparently, the date Apple expects to announce UK pricing and start taking pre-orders.

I'd like one but still paying off my wedding and a large tax bill - until I've cleared those any purchases are put on hold so I guess I'll be waiting a while!

I managed to buy mine from eBay and did a cash and collect for £630. Beauty being no VAT or customs shite to deal with... Loving it by the way, unfortunately, a real lack of credible accessories available in Blighty at the moment.
On top of that, the blinking Ash scenario ain't helping imports!!!!
