I installed the SE7EN LS UniAW on my iPhone 4s ... my location works fine with it. I will now remove tweaks on my iPad to see if I can get the equivalent working.

Ha ha, I am the contractor that comes in and installs the granite, and flagstone, or travertine, or slate on your new patio. That's why this time of year is when I am at work, and doing family a lot. My specialty is custom master bathrooms. But whatever keeps the lights on.

Ok, had nothing else to do today so ...

I restored my iPad 3 as a new iPad, jailbroke it, added Winterboard, OpenSSH, and iFile. I then ssh'ed the Round GPS LS and mylocation.deb to my iPad. Selected th R GPS LS and resprung, used iFile to install mylocation.deb and then rebooted. After reboot I resprung again and pressed the mylocation icon, and ... nothing happened. So, to beat a dead horse, it does not work on my iPad 3 os 5.1.1 ... period!
I don't know what is different but there is something ...
I just wanted to let everyone helping know that even after using all of their tips, hints, explanations, etc, it just plain doesn't work for me.

Alternate method

Steps:
Browse to /var/root/Media/
1. Create a new folder called Cydia
2. Inside the new Cydia folder, create a folder called AutoInstall
( make sure you create these folders exactly as you read them here. The names are case-sensitive. )

3.download this MyLocation Upadated for 5.1.x

Copy the .deb file into AutoInstall folder
4.Reboot
5.respring your iDevice.
6. Open up the new "MyLocation" app on your springboard.
7. Turn on "sig change"
8. Select your favorite GPS Mod in Winterboard.
9. respring.

Did you read my post about permission settings?
Do you have a Documents folder in var/mobile/

Worked on first install for me on my new iPad.
Your doing something wrong. Delete and try again.

im not sure why is it so complicated over there for some of you, but all i do was
- using ifile to install the deb file- reboot- turn on sig-change & Location--- then i see my widget display the weather info, that's it

See previous message ... it does not work for ME and I am NOT a novice in IOS. I have read and implemented ALL things mentioned to get it working. If there is anyone on this forum that is from the Denver area and using this I would be glad to meet with them.

uhmm, already told you what i know, anyway winterboard might not work for this on ipad 3, and if it is ofcoz it overwrite Settings-wallpaper...

Best thing is to install wallpaper jpegifier. Then go into settings. Select wallpaper And respring.

Edit the info.plist under main theme. I'm sure you can figure it out
