Cant wait for this to come out, im loving the el3ment theme. but my only thing with it, is i dont like the chinese characters everywhere. its a small thing and not a big deal but just my creative criticism...
awesome work buddy
ps... the contrast between the light and dark wallpaper make it a bit hard to read the icon names? can anything be done about that?

Haha no worries, after the work that went into A I R and now I'm working on the iFlat port, I think it would have drove me insane even if I had. you got much work left to do on the theme?

FAQ will be updated as needed. Please read it thoroughly!!
IMPORTANT! Open WinterBoard and turn 'SummerBoard mode' OFF!
WinterBoard setup
In order to enjoy all theme options please prioritize them in the EXACT same order as the list below(from bottom to top). Remember, WinterBoard is priority specific so whatever is selected on top, will take priority. Experiment with what options work best for you. Try selecting and deselecting each of them before you say something doesn't work.
EL3MENT_iPad_BlackLabels (changes icon labels to black)
EL3MENT_iPad_RedLabels (changes icon labels to red)
EL3MENT_iPad_NoDockedLabels (removes app name from icons in the dock)
EL3MENT_iPad_NoUndockedLabels (removes app name from icons on springboard)
EL3MENT_iPad_DockW+D (puts weather & date widget on springboard - read below for weather setup)
EL3MENT_iPad_LSWall (puts theme wallpaper on lockscreen)
EL3MENT_iPad_SBWall (puts theme wallpaper on springboard)
EL3MENT_iPad (main theme folder - ALWAYS have this option selected)
NOTE: At this time custom theme wallpapers(springboard & weather), only work in landscape mode w/ home button facing to the right! If you'd like to use your own wallpaper then you need to disable/unselect SBWall, LSWall & W+D via WinterBoard.
Weather setup (using iFile)
Follow steps below to change weather to your city:
1. Go: Yahoo! Weather
2. Enter your City or zip code(press enter), then click on the "Extended Forecast" option underneath the "6-10 DAY"
3. In the top address bar of your browser you'll see an address, for example: "http://weather....USNY0996...."
4. This the Weather code that you need, for example: USNY0996
5. SSH into your device using iFile and navigate to:
private/var/stash/Themes or Themes.xxxxx/EL3MENT_iPad_DockW+D.theme/Widgets/Configs/WeatherConfig
6. Sroll down to where you see "var locale = "84093" //e.g..", press 'Edit'(top right) and then input the code to your hometown code that you found on yahoo weather(5 digit zip code also works for U.S. Cities).
8. Press 'Done'.
9. Respring device.
NOTE: When using the 'EL3MENT_iPad_DockW+D' option you should have no more than 4 icons on your dock or they will cover the widgets.
Custom Folder & Multi-task background
The 4.2.1 update does not allow custom images to automatically show inside of folders and on the multi-task bar. Follow these steps:
1. Install 'iWipeCache' via Cydia.
2. SSH into your device and navigate to private/var/stash/Applications.xxxxxx/iwipecache.pp
3. Open the 'run' file and replace all the code with the following:
#!/bin/bash
rm -f /private/var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.springboard-imagecache*
rm -rf /private/var/mobile/Library/Caches/SpringBoardIconCache
rm -rf /private/var/mobile/Library/Caches/SpringBoardIconCache-small
rm -rf /private/var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.SpringBoard.folderSwitcherBG
rm -rf /private/var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.SpringBoard.folderSwitcherLinen
rm -rf /private/var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.SpringBoard.folderSwitcherLinen.0
rm -rf /private/var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.SpringBoard.folderSwitcherLinen.1
rm -rf /private/var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.SpringBoard.folderSwitcherLinen.2
rm -rf /private/var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.SpringBoard.folderSwitcherLinen.3
/usr/bin/killall SpringBoard
4. Save & respring.
5. Run iWipe cache again!
NOTE: I highly recommend 'FolderEnhancer'(found in cydia). It is a PAID app but it's a MUCH better folder alternative and themes automatically.Last edited by toyvan; 03-21-2011 at 11:13 AM.

Thanks man much appreciated!
With A I R, I basically got every theme I could get my hands on to compare images and get as much themed as I could, also found out how some elements work; like the battery for example, feel free to rip into A I R for comparison if you haven't already hehe. Will be looking forward to seeing this complete; good luck!
