Look for things like iPadAppIcon or Icon-Small-50 in application names. Amongst others.

Man.. Still didnt unlock the UI and i've been spending a few hours trying to figure out why the icons look a bit blurry. The springboard uses icon-72.png. I tested it in a .app folder thinking the Icon folder was causing it. Same result in the theme .app folder. It themes in the .app so the ipad is using the icon-72.png. I just cant figure out why when no the theme is not selected the icons a crisp. It look like they get re sized in some way. May be do to a UIImage I cant gain access to
looks like it'll be a long road of r&d before the themeing begins

Okay.. three hours later. What I found out is WinterBoard is not ready for iPad. The iPad re sizes the icon-72.png smaller. Winterboard does not leaving the icon blurry. I tested summerboard and winterboard modes. in the Icon folder the Folders folder with .app and the Bundles folder. All places skin the same way. Blurry. Last I put my App Store icon in the direct folder not using WinterBoard and made a backup of the original. Look for yourself.
So... no so good for Cydia & Rock themes or for anyone. lol

Edit... The iPad don't re size the icon. WinterBoard does. Sorry. Got that the wrong way.Last edited by zausser; 05-23-2010 at 08:25 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

i think you mean winterboard doesn't resize and ipad does cause when you placed it in the ipad it resized to that smaller one right? hah. Why would it be blurry from winterboard though? shouldn't it just use the image thus it all just depends on how clear you made the icon? though yes the appstore icons does look a lot more clean

Nope. Winterboard and summerboard make the icon larger. I tested in Photoshop pixel dimension. The smaller icon you see is the correct size and resolution. It's the icon-72.png and that one is placed direct. Try it yourself. Then take a screensot open the screenshot in Photoshop and drag in a icon. It'll be the same size. I bet your icons are larger and more blurry.
