10-08-2013, 06:20 AM #1Bricked iPad2 (6.1), how to maintain JB?
I bricked my ipad2. It is on 6.1. I have tiny umbrella blobs for 4.3 onwards.
Any chance of maintaining JB on my ipad?

so, no replies. i guess that means no one knows any tricks.
in redsn0w there is an option to restore to a 6.x firmware using a 4.3 ipsw and corresponding blobs. whenever i do this it says either "put your device in dfu" if it is in recovery or "put your device in recovery" if it is in dfu...
but i guess this is just an oversight in redsn0w since everyone seems think that a5 cannot be downgraded... is that absolutely true?

progress. by submitting my blobs to cydia via redsn0w, then downloading them again via redsn0w, it starts the restore process to 6.1
then it says: "It seems the APTicket flash on the device cannot be re-used for this hack". I have 4.3 on the Ipad 2, installed via Redsn0w... any ideas?

for the record, i restored to 7.0.2 via itunes. then attempted to restore to 6.1 using the 4.3.3 blobs in redsn0w. i got the same error about the APTicket spuriously claiming to be due to an OTA update. I have never done an OTA update on any of my iDevices.
