Default How to keep apps fully operational in the background?
    Hi!

I'm new to this forum. Hopefully someone can help me out here!

I need to be be able to switch between two or three apps while keeping them fully operational in the background (two apps for remote controlling my mixer and one for controlling my synth. They loose their connection when put in background and it has to be re-established each time. Not something you'd want to do while performing..)

Zephyr is perfect for quickly switching between apps, but it puts the backgrounded apps to sleep just the same way as apple's own app switcher does.

Quasar keeps the apps fully operational in the background but the app switching is not as fast and quasar sometimes makes my ios crash. Quasar also seems to disable zephyr functionality while trying to have them both enabled.

So is there any way to keep the apps operational in the background (besides quasar) and still be able to use zephyr (or some similar tweak) for app switching?

Thank you, help will be much appreciated!

    (I'm on ipad3 and jailbroken ios 5.1.1.)

Install Backgrounder from Cydia, it will keep your apps running in the background.
