    Talking Update iPad 1 safely
    Hi, quick question here.

    I have an iPad 1 - 5.0(9A334) / Baseband 07.11.01 / tethered Jailbreaked

I understand I can make an untethered jailbreak with 5.1.1

The question is, what would be the best way to update the firmware safely. Do I have to lose all my apps and stuff in the process?

    Thanks in advance

You won't lose everything if you make a backup in iTunes before restoring so you don't lose your apps, documents, etc
