Can I update from 4.3.3 to 5.0.1 and then jb and save all my apps?

I want update my ipad2 to OS5 but also want to be able to jailbreak and keep all my current apps Im using now??

What's the best method?

You have to have the shsh blobs to update to 5.0 or 5.0.1 if not 5.1 is where you will end up and they don't have a jailbreak for 5.1 yet for the iPad 2

Ohhh well I really appreciate your quick response. I was just about to attempt it. ( no patience). I do have blobs from 4.3.3 on my ipad but I guess that doesn't help?
I am stuck now until a jb for 5.1?

Thanks, I'm in the same situation, jb 4.3.3 and have blobs for 4.3.5. I wanted to upgrade 5.01 but I see this won't work right now. Alot of apps with ipad2 won't work with 4.3.3 so again I'm glad I read this thread stating we need to wait. It's ok, I still have jb 4.33 and working great thanks to the smart peeps who bring us magic.
