Restore in iTunes is the only way to remove it completely...

Just plug into iTunes and click restore....
What about SETTINGS > GENERAL > RESET > ERASE ALL CONTENT??

Not really a squid when it comes to all this, I've just had a little streak of bad luck with the last couple of devices I've had so I'm double checkin this time. haha
