Thread: Please help with blobs for 4.3.3
12-10-2011, 09:30 AM #1Please help with blobs for 4.3.3
hello eveyone! i have an Ipad 2 wifi 4.3.3
so recently my dad came back from africa with his ipad 2 we bought him for fathers day. I was excited to learn that he no longer wanted the ipad, so he gave it to me. luckily it had the 4.3.3 firmware on it. i then jailbroke it, and forgot to save the SHSH file
Stupidly, i installed many tweaks and low-and-behold my ipad now crashes and automatically restarts each time i i try to launch any app.
i need to reinstall the 4.3.3 OS; however i failed to backup my SHSH file; so i am unable to do so.
would anyone be able to supply me with a signed IPSW file? OR a saved SHSH file so i will be able to use Ifaith i construct my own IPSW?
or would anyone be able to send me an image of their ipad2 root filesystem so i can Ifunbox into the root system folders of my ipad- to replace each file individually?
i understand that we uploading onto this website probably will not work ( due to large file size ) but i am totally willing to use other file transfer protocols.
Please reply with any helpful advice. Thank you all so much for your time.

You have no blobs saved for the iPad? Check in cydia and on the main page of cydia, you'll see green numbers/letters at the top. Tell us what they are. Those are the blobs that are saved.

SHSH blobs are not interchangeable, they are completely unique per each device. Copying root system over = not a good idea, at all. Are you positive that Cydia did not save your 4.3.3 blobs for you? Do you have Tinyaumbrella? If not, get it and run it.And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream! Springboard screwy after reboot? Here is the fix

Seems like ya stuck with restoring to 5.0.1. Unless ya can try to download Iexporer and maybe try to delete them tweaks ya had. Maybe that will help?

i have root access- however i have no clue what file i need to delete- or where it is.
the tweaks that i installed were called, Covert ( for secure browsing ) and Dashboard ( wich i later found out only works on ipad1 )
both were downloaded from cydia
any idea on where i should navigate to find these files?

Since you upgraded to ios 5, your gonna have to wait till they release a jailbreak for an iPad 2.
