Can we even step backwards in ios versions on the ipad2? Then that JB will be completely obsolete when IOS5 comes out. I would rather have IOS 5.

You can roll back your firmware to any ios version as long as you save your shsh files and if you havent done it yet and you are higher than iOS 4.3 than you are sol. Google tinyumbrella, download it and save your shsh files every time a new iOS is released. Also most of the "improvements" in iOS 5 have been ripped off from already existing jailbreak tweaks/apps anyway so you aren't missing out on anything anyway. And unless you are a developer you shouldn't be on iOS 5 until it is released in the fall unless you are doing it the illegal way.

And if that still doesn't satisfy you than develop your own untethered jailbreak for iOS 5 beta and release it so apple can patch it in the fall when iOS 5 final comes out.

I thought you could just put your device into recovery mode and then just select a previous firmware ipsw to downgrade to restore to :S i've done this multiple times
