Default How to show running apps and processes?
I can connect to my iPad (first generation 16gb wifi v4.3.2 with redsn0w jailbreak) from my PC using PuTTY. I tried running commands top and ps but they are not recognized.

How can I get a list of running apps and processes?

    Thanks

I will give that a try, but I am looking for is a way to find running processes from the shell so I can write a batch script and use KILL to shut them down.

    Thanks

You could install top from cydia then that command will work. It'll also work from mobile terminal.

Thanks A3gOwner ... that was exactly what I needed to know!

I am still finding my way around Cydia and did not know that you could install an individual command like that!

@battlecrushr - I installed sbsettings and I like it! Very nice app!
