Thread: Disable Temperature Warnings

    Default Disable Temperature Warnings
So I'm fairly certain I have a faulty temperature sensor, since I can be indoors in a ~68F environment doing completely non-intensive things with the iPad (opening Cydia, browsing with Safari) and I'll be slapped with a temperature warning and an obligatory hard reboot. I'd like a way to disable that warning, or at least get around it. I've read searched around and the same sort of thing has happened to other people as well, with them usually returning the iPad for a replacement or living with it.

Anyone have any idea how the system of checking temperature works? Is there a daemon I could disable maybe or a plist tweak?

AFAIK, you can't disable it, it's hardware.

Sounds like you need to return to Apple

Yes, bring it to an Apple Store and they should replace it.
