Default New iPad coming--how to prepare
I've got a new iPad coming in three or four days. I understand there is not an untethered jailbreak yet for it. Is there anything I should do--or anything I shouldn't do--to prepare for jailbreaking it later? All I really intend to do once it is jailbroken is tether it to my blackberry through bluetooth.

Just save your SHSH with tiny umbrella and you should be set.

I'm not sure if this still happens, but when I got my iPad it started off with iOS 3. You could try connecting it then when it's verified, just disconnect and try see if you jailbreak that firmware. But if you don't like iOS 3 and want iOS 4 for multitasking etc., then I'd go with what was said above.

Just so you know, they removed the rotation lock switch in 4.2, and brought it back in 4.3.

THey did not remove the rotation lock. on the main screen you need to double tap the home button and scroll to the left on the bottom and hit the rotation lock button. Thanks

If you read correctly, you would've noticed I said 'rotation lock switch'.
