location services broken after 4.2.1 jailbreak

i have a jailbroken wifi-only ipad on 4.2.1 untethered with jailbreak monte (4.2b3). i tried the following to get location services working:

Method 1:
with openSSH installed:
launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.locationd.plist
launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.locationd.plist

Method 2:
uninstall openSSH and reboot.

Method 3:
install "Spirit Location Services Fix" from cydia.pushfix.info repo and reboot.

Method 4:
add the following key/value to /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.locationd.plist and reboot:
<key>OnDemand</key>
<true/>

none of the above methods fixed the location services issue. my ipad was previously jailbroken with spirit on 3.2 and i used the "Spirit Location Services Fix" at cydia.pushfix.info repo to resolve it, but this no longer works on 4.2.1.

does anyone else have location services problem with their jailbroken 4.2.1 wifi-only ipad or is it just me?

i don't understand what you're saying. this thread is for IPAD (without 3G) with broken location services.

No problems on my side, 16gb wifi iPad with 4.2.1 tethered with redsn0w

Have you tried starting fresh with 4.2.1??

Yep and no, openssh and ifile (as webserver) work fine and I dont own a Mac so im waiting on Windows redsn0w beta or actual drop of working version

If you have a Mac you can use the redsn0w beta to do it
