iPad screen lock turns into mute

So I'm on a 3G iPad and i recently rejailbroke it, and now when i want to lock my screen it just mutes my sound. Please help me!

in the 4.2 update the rotation lock button was reprogrammed to be the mute button (like iPhones)

you still have rotation lock, if you bring up your multitasking plane and scroll left (to where iPod controls are) there is a button there for rotation lock now

and as far as im aware there is no way to reprogram it, aside from downgrading back to 3.2.2

Ok, the screen lock is different than the once rotation lock. I think you meant the switch on the side.

In Cydia I believe it is called 'No Mute' and it should change the switch back to rotation lock. There's a couple threads on this if you want any more information.
