Thread: iPad untethered Question

  1. #1
    Default iPad untethered Question
Other than the Bluetooth issue with the untethered jailbreak, are there any other known problems?

I ask because if that is all, I will do it cause I don't use it on my iPad.

i have a problem with location services not working on my wifi-only ipad, but i think it may be a general bug with the 4.2.1 JB and not necessarily caused by untethering.
location services broken after 4.2.1 jailbreak

So from reading this.. I take it 4.2.1 is jailbreakable (untethered) but what about being unlocked? What's the newest iOS that can be unlocked

Yes 4.2.1 is jailbreakable, tethered (but using beta 6 on mac you can untether)

You mean the unlock for an iPad 3G??

Wait till either 4.3 or new iPad 3G

The only jailbreak issue I've seen that hasn't been resolved is that you can no longer read protected iBooks. Unprotected books and PDFs work fine.

    IPad's are unlocked by default.
