12-31-2010, 01:04 AM #1Any way to get an untethered JB on brand new iPad running 3.2.2?
I just got a brand new iPad that is on 3.2.2. Since its brand new I obviously don't have any past SHSH blobs saved (or even 3.2.2 saved). As soon as I got it I ran TinyUmbrella and saved 4.2.1 (if that is good for anything), but Apple is no longer signing 3.2.2.
I've read the 3.2.2 JB is an untethered JB. Is there any way I can get this untethered JB on 3.2.2 if my iPad is still on 3.2.2 (without the 3.2.2 SHSH Blobs saved)?
If there is no way to get the untether JB for 3.2.2 at this point, I'll just update to 4.2.1 and go with the tethered JB for the time being.

Yes,,, just run a JB tool and it will jailbrake your iPad and it will be un-tethered
4.2.1 is the only OS that iPad is having issues with at present but that will be Un-tethered soon enough anywayIf I've helped you remember to say

No, you can't jailbreak 3.2.2 if you don't have your blobs saved. The 4.2.1 jailbreak should be complete soon, but it's unclear as to whether the untethering will work for an iPad that doesn't have blobs saved for the 4.2b3 beta. Worst case is that you'll be stuck tethered for awhile, which really isn't too bad.
