Please help! Just got an IPad

Hi, I just opened up my sealed IPad from the box and everything is running smooth. First question, can i jailbreak it? It's on 4.2.1. If I jailbreak it, will it void my apple warranty? How beneficial is it if I jailbreak it? Are there any cool apps that you just absolutely love and can't live without on IPad. Thanks in advance guys.

You can jailbreak with redsnow 0.9.6b6. But it is a tethered jailbreak right now.

What do you mean a tethered??

Means everytime you reboot you will have to run redsnow again and choose the option to boot tethered.

Sill in beta but it works well. You will need 4.2b3 SHSH though. Check with tiny umbrella if you have them.

Tiny Umbrella says I have SHSH4.2.1(8c148)-2202748718542...is there anywhere I can get the SHSH you're referring to. Sorry I'm an idiot.
