Little hint. Per the Rules of ModMyi.
Simple Rule. Posting content and then the source link = just fine. Posting a link, not posting content = spammer.

12-23-2010, 07:22 PM #4Problem downgrading
I have tried to downgrade from 4.2.1 to 3.2.2 at least 10 times but no joy. iPad came w/3.2.2, I saved the blob w/ Tinyumbrella, upgraded to 4.2, then to 4.2.1. Now trying to downgrade back to 3.2.2. I have the 7B500 firmware saved on my desktop, I run Tinyumbrella in admin mode, it says it has the 7B500 blob (as well as 8C148 and 8C5115c) for this device, I put the iPad in DFU mode, it detects properly, I run shift-restore, and it says "The iPad "iPad" could not be restored because the firmware file is not compatible." No error number is given.
I will be forever in your debt if you can help me figure out what is wrong.
I forgot to say that no, Skype is not running, and yes, TSS server is running. Thanks.
