ofcourse there wont be? whats the point of wasting a exploit on 3.2.2 or 4.0.2?
you dont have long to wait till 4.1 / 3.3 which is then going to be jailbroken

Does anyone know, if there is a possibility that 4.1 will be released on Wednesday or when the new jailbreak will be released? I am sitting here with a new iPhone 4 (delivered on Saturday with 4.0.2 on it).
Thankful for any suggestions, if there can be any made

No one knows, it will be release when it is released. Based on recent information, it seems the jailbreak developers have the jailbreak ready but will be waiting until 4.1 is released. So if 4.1 is announced on Sept 1 as speculated, then it's possible a jailbreak will be announced shortly afterwards, likely enough time for people who are currently on 3.2.2 or 4.0.2 to upgrade to 4.1 to be ready to jailbreak when it is released.

Next time read all the story first.
It said there will be no 4.0.2/3.2.2 jailbreak before 4.1 jailbreak.
So you should be able to jailbreak 4.0.2/3.2.2 but only after they release the 4.1 jailbreak.
If you want to know when the 4.1 jailbreak will be released just ask Apple when 4.1 will be released then add a day or two to that.

^^^^ Very true, but I was just assuming 4.1 would be better then 4.0./3.2. Since 4.0.2 & 3.2.2 just patched a minor security flaw there is no point staying on the current firmware when 4.1 comes out and a jailbreak exists for it. However, you are 100% correct that the jailbreak for 4.1 will work for all firmwares 4.1 and less (3.2.2, 3.2.1, 3.2).

An iPad on 3.2.1 cannot be jailbroken at this time?
09-01-2010, 01:51 PM #13
iPad 3.2 & 3.2.1 can be jail broken at this time. If you are on 3.2.2 then you cannot jailbreak until a new jail break is released. It is possible downgrade your firmware from 3.2.2 to lower versions, but it is difficult with limited success. You can attempt it if you had previously been on a lower firmware an had the jailbreak. If you didn't previously jailbreak and/or your device is currently running 3.2.2 then the chance of downgrading to a lower firmware is virtually impossible. Hopefully, a new jailbreak will be released soon.

If this is true, then I'll update my IPAD to the 4.2beta
if there is a jailbreaking coming for the 3.2.2 in near future, then I wont do that.
IF I update to 4.2b then downgrade to 3.2.2 in case a jailbreaking has been released, Will it works after downgrading or not??

If your on 3.2.2 and don't have the ability to downgrade for whatever reason (see previous posts or other threads on the subject), then feel to upgrade to 4.2 beta if you have access to it. When a jailbreak is released it is likely going to be for FM version 4.2 and lower, then for 3.2.2, 3.2.1 and 3.2 can be jailbroken. If rumour is true about a hardware jailbreak then it is possible the next released jailbreak will be good for any existing iPad doesn't matter what firmware version as the hardware would have to be replaced/changed for Apple to stop you from jailbreaking, which they are not going to do. They will just sell new devices with the hardware patched, so if you already own your iPad enjoy using it with whatever firmware you currently have and when the next jailbreak is released then, at that time, jailbreak your iPad.
