For those having this problem.... (I'm specifying that I have a 32GB+3G)
I tried:
1. Turning off 3G and run the site on wifi.
2. Turning off wifi and run the site on 3G.
3. I even restored the ipad to factory 3.2.1.
None of the above seem to have worked.

Video about the jailbreak.
Seems to be only with 3G models(?)
I also would like some reassurance that this is being looked into by the DevTeam?

I also have a 32gig iPad 3G and get the reboot without getting jailbreak.
Its not just limited to 3.2.1 I get the same results on both 3.2 and 3.2.1.

After sliding the "slide to jailbreak", my ipad just shows the background picture.

^^Me to: 3.2.1 32GB 3G. Before it would just reboot like everybody else's, but now it just stays stuck on the background pic.

Yeap same here, background only after slide. This seems to be the updated version that comex said he posted to fix the 3G ipad issue. I guess we'll just have to wait til tomorrow for another update then.
EDIT: The message that comes up after I try to restart the installer (on jailbreakme.com), "Oops, It looks like the installer crashed last time you tried to jailbreak.
It might work if you try again."
Here's a screenie:

I read from a Chinese forum that many have succeeded in jailbreaking iPad 3G on 3.2.1! It seems the new version of the jailbreakme, which Comex released just before going to sleep, really works!
Update: Those who failed maybe due to the fact that thousands of jailbreakers trying to connect to the server!Last edited by enono; 08-02-2010 at 01:52 AM.

Are we suppose to be restarting our iPad's in between tries? Or when we get stuck on purple screen do we just press "Refresh" ?
p.s. At least im not getting Force Restarts, I might just have to wait late into the night for the servers to allow this to work (?)- Hillsdale

Care to elaborate on how they got it working? I can't seem to do that at the moment. I've tried a few times... Is there a special procedure that they did?
I restarted after the first fail. Second one still failed. On the first release earlier I actually restored to factory to check but restoring all my data took forever. I'm not going to risk it this late at night only to find a dead device and not be able to use it tomorrow. Anyone who's successfully jailbroken their ipad 3G?Last edited by anthoj; 08-02-2010 at 01:55 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Is anyone still having the same problems, I am and even after Comex's "update fix" I'm having problems on both jailbreakme.com (<-- Purple screen) and jailbreakme.modmyi.com (<-- Forced Reboot, Purple Screen)
