    Default iPad with Flash
Ok I installed flash at around midnight last night. (couldn't sleep) see engadget to find out how. Well here is the deal I had about 56% power left but when I woke up at 7am I only had 18% could flash be killing my battery?

Did you leave the screen on? I don't see how it could be sucking the power because flash doesn't activate until you click the BIG flash symbol. Unless you did something wrong I don't see how it would have killed your battery that drastically.

My advice would be to uninstall Frash ASAP. Simply put, Frash is not ready for public use. See this tweet by Chpwn:

"The reason @comex didn't post a guide is because it /isn't ready/ and he /didn't want to/ release it! Thanks /so/ much to whoever put Frash on Engadget, illegally including Adobe files and making @comex look bad. The Frash source is available for /developers/ to work on, not for someone to release unfinished. Read my tweets, and please uninstall now until a public release. Frash is not ready for public consumption."

I wouldn't say that it is frash that is killing your battery. I have it running on my iPad and it runs absolutely fine. (as well as can be expected anyway with it being unfinished) I have had no battery issues either.

Hello all... I am one of the people that installed frash as well but I seem to be having lots of problems with it. A lot of websites just aren't finishing their loads so I get lots of flash errors. I guess I'll have to wait it out for an improved version.

But how do I remove frash from the ipad. I went into var>mobile and removed the frash folder but frash is still trying to load flash content through frash. Any ideas?

I've had it installed for about a week or so now. No battery problems here. And even though it's not extremely polished, it's still amazing. I haven't spent multiple hours using a flash site but it's definitely a nice thing to have for web browsing.

    it did for me.

edit: to be sure cydia had removed it cleanly, in ifile I did a hierarchy search of / for 'frash' and nothing came up.

I suggest you guys just wait for frash to be released officially by comex intead of using leaks and suffering irreversible consequences. But it's your choice.
