Change Mobile Safari User Agent
As most of us iPad users have noticed Safari's internet experience is great. However, some sites, most notably Facebook, do not give all of their features to Mobile Safari users. Is there a way to change the Mobile Safari user agent? (Basically, I want to be able to use chat on Facebook's actual website).
So, if anyone knows how to change Mobile Safari's user agent, use Facebook chat on the iPad, or when a native Facebook app is coming to iPad please tell me. Thanks!

Not sure how to change it in Safari but there are other browsers that let you do this
Perfect Browser and Atomic both support this
Not sure if facebook chat works though

I like Astro browser.
There is a plugin for SBsettings that allows you to change Useragent on Safari. I have not tried it on the iPad but I did use it on the Iphone and it worked well.

There is also an SBSettings toggle that will allow one to change the UserAgent for MobileSafari to whatever, FF by default. Though I recommend Atomic Browser, as it has a bunch of built in agents, and is only 99 cents. It also has a bunch of other cool features too.And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream! Springboard screwy after reboot? Here is the fix
