So I want to JB my iPad, but I have a few questions first. First of all, can someone please describe what I will have to do when a new OS update is released by Apple? Second, can I still sync with iTunes after JB? Finally, will it backup my JB iPad in iTunes? For example, if I JB and 3 months later I want to get rid of the JB, can I restore from a post-JB backup (sine some of my "official" apps will be changed over that time span), or will it have to be with a pre-JB backup? I hope I made this clear, any help will be appreciated.

When Apple releases an update, do not install it. Doing so will unjailbreak, and it will be indistinguishable from a newly purchase ipad.

Yes, you can sync with iTunes, exactly as you do with unJB ipad

No, it will not backup your JB. If you restore, it will be unJB'd

I have had a jailbroken iPhone as long as jailbreaking has existed, and iTunes has always backed up every legit program/song/contact - as if cydia and its ilk were invisible to it.
