I have a couple of questions related to themes on the iPad.
1. Has anyone experienced any slow down in transition from portrait to landscape with a moderately customized theme, compared to a non-jb'd iPad?
2. Does a Winterboard theme need to include two versions now? For example, the official Modmyi theme uses blank icons for tabs illustrated in the wallpaper itself. This theme should work in portrait, but wouldn't everything get wonky in landscape? I'm using a customized version of the Teknologik iPhone theme on my iPhone 3G right now, which relies on iblank and springjump. I imagine something like that on the iPad with it's switching orientation is not possible without two separate sets for one theme. I guess i'd have to lock my screen orientation to one view all the time.
I haven't jb'd my iPad yet, so I haven't figured all this out for myself. Any info would be appreciated.

I would like to theme the actual slidebar to be transparent, or preferably remove it. Has anyone figured out how to do that yet?
I also can't find the little slideshow flower graphic anywhere...

I want to add my own custom icons, but placing icon.png (or even icon-ipad.png) in the application folder doesnt work. Why cant I change icons manually this way?
