Default How can I watch direct tv on JB'd ipad3 running 5.1.1?
My direct tv app worked before the jailbreak.
After the jailbreak it said the app was not supported to run on a jailbroken device.
I installed the direct tv patch from cydia with no luck.
I also installed xcon alias with no luck.

I tried deleting the direct tv app and reinstalling it with no luck.
Now the app will open but it appears frozen with the direct tv logo in the center of the screen.

Is there a certain sequence of installations I am overlooking?

No, it's just the fact that your version is too new for xCon. Hopefully the author will update it soon so that this can be fixed. There is a thread located here: xCon: Patch Apps With Jailbreak Protection! Make sure to stay up to date with it.

    Thanks for the reply!

I read that thread you linked.

I uninstalled the direct tv app as well as xcon. Next I uninstalled the the xcon repo.
I rebooted the iPad then added the xcon repo again. Followed by another reboot. I then installed the directtv app and it's running perfect.

I did everything you outlined but I still can't get it to work? Something I'm missing? iPad 2 0n 5.1.1.

Thanks for any help you can give.
