Any one having problems upgrading instore apps on there new ipad? here are some screen shots of a couple of apps that I've tried to purchase. Keep getting (this is not a test user account Please create a new account in the sandbox environment) I have the new ipad 3 here running 5.1.1 jailbroke. Don't have a CLUE AS TO WHAT THE PROBLEM IS.

Sandbox as it is known keeps apps running in themselves (so they cannot access core system things like how SpringBoard works, etc.) this applies to App Store apps only though. You're having an issue with that is what it's basically telling you. What jailbreak did you use for it?I will no longer be very active here anymore due to a variety of reasons.

There's a sandbox fix, that worked for me years ago on iOS 3 when I had this problem. Try these:
How to fix the In-App Purchase "Not a Sandbox Account" issue
I don't remember the exact error message, but it was along the lines of
"Not a Sandbox user account" and this didn't allow one to utilize In-App purchase.
Very annoying, right?
Well I have found a fix for it!
It is actually quite simple.
Uninstall the troubled application(s).
Open an SSH window to your device.
Navigate to /private/var/stash/libexec/
Here you will see an "installd" file and an "installd.backup" file without the quotes.
Rename the "installd" file to "installd.new" without the quotes.
Rename the "installd.backup" file to "installd" without the quotes.
Install the application again. THE APP MUST EITHER BE FREE OR YOU MUST HAVE PAID FOR IT FOR IN-APP PURCHASE TO WORK.
Test the purchase. It should work correctly.
Go back in SSH, and navigate to /private/var/stash/libexec/
Rename the "installd" file back to "installd.backup".
Rename the "installd.new" file back to "installd".
Done! You will have to do this every time you install a new application with In-App purchase.
In-App purchase should now work forever on the app that you reinstalled.
This is because the "installd" file is the one that allows cracked app installation.
This file, if present during the installation of an app with In-App purchase somehow breaks that process.
In-App purchase will work if the patch is not present on the installation of the app, even though it is after the installation.

I used absinthe-win2.0.4 on both my ipad3 and iphone 4 had no problems on the iphone, just the new ipad.

Bit of a long shot, but I have had problems updating Apps this week which was cured by reinstalling Safari Download Manager.

I just checked both my ipad3 and iphone 4 could not find an installd backup file, just installd file any ideas?

Did you ever figure out how to make in app purchases? I'm having the same problem, only installd file no installd backup. I can't find anything on it anywhere & nobody know what to do....

NO I have not and don't want to rejailbreak my ipad3 so far have only 2 apps that won't let me purchase. Also have had problems with the flipboard app on both my iphone and ipad3 still at 1.9.1 anything above that makes the app freeze.

I still haven't figured it out, it won't let me purchase in 4 main apps I'm in i don't want to re jailbreak either, just hope somebody can figure this out

Hi, you could try downloading the latest version of the app in the iTunes Store on your computer and then syncing it across to your iPad, it might get things working?

I have had no luck had the same problem with both my iPhone and ipad3 so I restored the iPhone downloaded the problem apps and did the purchase then jailbroke it, seems to have fixed the problem, will have to do the same with my ipad3. I did try to delete and re download the apps but it didn't work for me.
