Handwriting Input - Excel

Sorry if it's a repeat, I tried to search through.

I have an ipad (wifi), and in doing inventory at work, it'd be nice to use the ipad at work by carrying it around and being able to input into an excel (or any spreadsheet), numbers and text by using a stylus and writing (as opposed to the onscreen keyboard). Click in a cell, write a number on the screen, it recognizes and puts the number into the cell. Does anyone have any suggestion to do this? I hear that Onlive could potentially do this, but you need a constant internet wifi connection. In my case, I want to be able to do this offline.

If it doesn't exist, I'm considering purchasing a non-apple product, which I would really like to avoid.

Any tips or ideas would be helpful.

Did an extensive search for what your looking for with not much luck. There are a bunch of spreadsheet apps, but reading descriptions can't find one with hand written capabilities, sorry. Perhaps someone else will chime in.

Notability will do handwriting conversion to text but cant open xls
