Change the "iPad" name!
In case some or all of you cannot get makeitmine to work on the iPad...follow these steps to change the "iPad" text, to whatever you like.
1. SSH into your iDevice (preferably with ifunfox.)
2. Go to \system\library\coreservices\springboard.app
3. Find K48AP.plist
4. Make a backup of it on your destop
5. Open it (on your desktop)
6. Find the folowing key: devicename, iPad
7. Replace iPad to anything you want.
8. Save the file and upload (ssh it)back to same location.
10. Now it's changed!!!
I apologize if this is a repost.
If I've helped you, please be sure to hit the thanks button.

If there is, I've not seen it. There's a few things for iPhone, but none that I've tried that actually works for iPad.Main Phone: HTC ONE & Note 2 - Work: iPhone 4s - Tablet: iPad 2, The best of both worlds!

Makeitmine is the cydia app. Have only used it on my iPhone, but it lets you change the carrier name and/or the time in the status bar to whatever you like.

There's no need for complicated plist modifications, all you have to do is open Cydia and search for CarrierPigeon. Once installed, it will allow you to change the "iPad" default name to anything of your choosing. Do not forget to respring once done. Tested and fully working on iPad 4th gen. CDMA, iOS 7 image.jpg
