    Ok so I want to make movies on the iPad. Can you run iMovie on the iPad? Can you port over it to the iPad?I don't know if this is over the line of whats aloud to ask here. Sorry if it's not, just kill the thread if need be.

    Don't know but I tried to download iMovie for my 3GS firmware 4.0 the day the IPhone 4 came out and couldn't didn't even show up on my 3GS then after I got my iPhone 4 I downloaded it but still couldn't get for the 3GS.

    Ok so I found the iMovie ipa on my MacBook and found this (How to install iMovie app on iPhone 3GS/iTouch | All on the iPhone, iPod touch & iPad) then I shsh with cyberduck & followed the directions it said but it still keeps crashing when you open it any help.

    While I haz iMovie for iPhone 4 , I can't help but wonder why they couldn't add more transitions like reeldirector (which has an iPad version)

    Okay, I was able to install the app on my iPhone 3G running 3.1.3, but it just crashes every time I open the program. Any ideas? what am I doing wrong?

    A. It's not made for 3.1.3, it only runs on 4.0
    B. 3G doesn't have the correct hardware to run it, which is why it keeps crashing

    There is a tutorial to edit the plist file of the iMovie application in order to make it compatible with earlier firmwares and idevices...
    It is about changing the fw key and turning off the front camera option...

    Google it
