I just got a free paper based subscription to Maxim but its nice that it's that cheap. I've also found that Newegg will give you free Zinio based subscriptions for certain mags with some orders.

I didn't like zinio to much. But the iPad Maxim does not allow you to get the latest issues either so I am angry about that. May have to suck it up and go with zinio.

The people at Zinio are really nice. I like the app because all of the magazines are in one app plus lots to pick from. According to the guys that work there they are working hard to update the app so it is nice. I hate the rendering and the few bugs it has but over all I like it. There isn't any other app like this one...
Nice thing to... if you buy a year subscription and get two magazines out of your subscription and decide you don't like it they will refund your money back minus the two magazines....
One of the magazines I bought from them is not updated for the iPad... I called them wondering why it didn't show up and just because it was not updated yet he gave me a few magazines that I wanted for free until it gets updated or I could have my money back. I chose the free magazines....

Yeah I really like the app myself and as I stated the guys I talked to were very informative and nice! I might buy this magazine for the hubby so he can drool... LOL
