Thread: Comics?

Anyone using Comiczeal or any of the other comic apps? Curious how well it works, what's it look like, etc. Would like to know since comiczeal is a paid app.

Yup!! ComicZeal is amazing. Bought it last week and have since put loads of grPhic novels/comics on them. There's loads out there and they're free!! The converter worked no bother. I tried the Marvel app and the navigation is pretty cool but it'll start to ramp up cost as you have to purchase comics. You'll love it. Peace!

Personally, I keep comics in PDF form and use Goodreader on iPad.

What? I could've converted my cbr, cbz files to epub and used them in Ibook? Damn. I'd done that instead of buying comicZeal. Not that comicZeal is bad or anything, it works fine for me. But i'd rather put my comics in ibooks if i'd known.

Comic Reader Mobi is well worth the money. Reads .cbr files natively. No need for conversion.

If you want something free and works without converting your comic files, try Cloudreader its free in the apps store. That what I'm using to read my pdf and comics works pretty well and you can transfer files over wifi or in itunes. hopes this helps
